Les Colosses is Totem Sauvage's collection dedicated to the gorilla, a tribute to one of the most fascinating and closest animals to the human. It brings together Le Sage, a wall relief in iridescent blues, L'Indomptable, a roaring gorilla streaked with electric colours, and Le Conquérant, a striding gorilla in russet browns streaked with turquoise, three large Isorel panels cut to the silhouette of the primate. Each gorilla painting is executed in acrylic with a palette knife. The thick impastos and marked textures restore the density of the fur, the power of the hands, the gravity of the gaze, which raking light brings to life as on a sculpture. For Camille, the gorilla is the totem of inner strength and wisdom: behind the physical power lies a contemplative intelligence that resonates profoundly with our own humanity. Each work is unique, signed and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
