Why this animal

The horse in the storm is the part of us that does not submit: the untamed energy that crosses the tempest instead of waiting it out. Le Tempêtueux holds the wall as a reminder that strength is proven in motion, not in rest. Camille painted it for the one who would rather confront than endure.

Le Tempêtueux is a surge of raw energy. This rearing horse confronts the storm, mane whipped by the wind, muscles tensed in a titanic effort. The dramatic movement of the animal is captured in all its violence and beauty.

Acrylic with a palette knife finds here one of its most powerful expressions. Camille wields the tool with a vigour that directly translates the fury of the scene. The strokes are broad, laden with material.

A unique piece within the Les Cavaliers collection, Le Tempêtueux bears Camille's signature and has no equivalent.

The certificate of authenticity provided attests to the unique character of this creation.
