Why this animal

The buffalo is the totem of rootedness, and L'Iridescent reveals its shifting facet: a solidity that moves with the light, never quite the same from one hour to the next. On your wall, it offers a presence both steady and alive, rediscovered each day. Camille painted it for the one who holds firm without ever becoming fixed.

L'Iridescent plays cyan, turquoise and red in vivid flecks over black: the buffalo head becomes a field of colours that shift with the light.

Like the whole series, it is an Isorel panel cut to the silhouette of the head and horns, a wall relief worked with the knife. The buffalo is the totem of resilience and rootedness. A unique piece signed Camille, with certificate of authenticity.
