Why this animal

The buffalo is the totem of rootedness: a strength that comes not from momentum but from footing, from the depth of the roots. L'Enraciné settles that deep stability in your home, the presence of one who holds firm when everything wavers. Camille painted it for the one who builds on solid ground rather than noise.

L'Enraciné is a frontal buffalo head, horns widely spread, in a metallic copper, almost chromed finish that turns the animal into a sculptural presence. Depending on the light, the surface shifts from warm bronze to cold reflection: the work changes with the room that hosts it.

It is an Isorel panel cut to the silhouette of the head and horns, a wall relief that advances into the space. The knife has sculpted the volumes of the muzzle, the curve of the horns, the folds of the hide, before the metallic finish that reveals every ridge.

The buffalo is the totem of resilience and rootedness, symbol of a deep connection to the earth and of endurance in the face of the elements. A unique piece, hand-painted and signed by Camille, accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.
